Decor Inspiration: Copper Blush Accents | www.annemariemitchell.com

Le sigh. Copper blush seems to be the new hit trend around these parts and I’m not complaining. The hue has me in a tizzy exploring depths of Etsy I never knew possible–beyond my beloved land of printable art…. le GASP.

Copper Blush looks deceivingly like her sister color, rose gold. Copper blush leans more towards the warm, almost orange pink side. The shade easily warms up the appearance of any room and is has that modern industrial look with a touch of feminine chic. Or what I like to call, sophisticatedly industrial

Since switching up furniture each time a new trend crops up isn’t in the majority budget, I figured I’d let you in on my not-so- secret. Spray paint is the budget friendly Yoda of home decor savings. A simple few coats of a metallic copper blush shade will transform old trinkets to repurpose as modern book ends, metallic containers, or fancy decoration on shelving or atop a vanity. I’ll have more on that subject soon in another post (I’m lining up my own bits and bobs for their metamorphosis).

Spruce up your living and dining spaces by adding large modern copper blush light fixtures to set off the room. You can even spray christmas lights the color to create soft, almost Parisian-like ambiance around your dressing table mirror. Cool navy and neutral shades pair really well with copper blush. I love the refined, uptown trend-setter feel the pair lends to a room.

I love the herb cans!!! So smart/stylish and you could easily cut a hole in the bottom for drainage.
